Account Services

Direct Deposit

Direct deposit allows you to deposit any recurring check such as payroll, social security, or pension payments, directly into one or more of your accounts. With direct deposit, your money is in your account sooner, your check is safer, and you save a trip to the credit union.

Plus, with direct deposit into your GP Federal Credit Union account, you can get paid up to two days earlier! All accounts are automatically eligible - no sign up needed and no fee!

Note: We may make funds from an incoming electronic ACH direct deposit available for use up to two days before the scheduled payment date. Not all direct deposits are eligible. Early availability of direct deposits is not guaranteed and may vary from deposit to deposit. Whether we make funds available early depends on when we receive the payor's payment instructions, any limitations we set on the amount of early availability, and standard fraud prevention screening.

Eligible deposits or credits to your account, such as deposits of funds from person-to-person payment services (e.g., Zelle, Venmo, or PayPal transfers), check or mobile deposits, and other online transfers or electronic credits are not eligible.

Payroll Deduction

With payroll deduction, your loan payments and savings deposits are made automatically from your paycheck.

Just ask your payroll department or the credit union if these options are available at your place of employment.

Stay in touch with the credit union 24 hours a day, 7 days a week with CALL 24. You can do a balance inquiry, transfer money, make loan payments, and more with this convenient phone service.

Drive-Up Window Service

Many transactions that can be done inside can be done at the drive-up window. Need to cash a check, make a deposit or withdrawal? The drive-up windows at both Rome and Carrollton are a quick, convenient, and safe way to conduct your transactions.

After-Hours Depository

After-Hours Depository (“night drops”) are available at both Rome and Carrollton so that you can easily make deposits when our branches are closed. In most cases, deposits will be credited to your account on the next business morning before 9AM.

Share Draft Overdraft Protection

Unforeseen circumstances or miscalculating your account balance can cause you to overdraw your share draft account, but don't worry, we've got you covered.

For members that enroll in our Courtesy Pay overdraft service, we'll pay items on your behalf, up to $500.00 (including applicable fees). Courtesy Pay can cover checks, ACH items, debit card transactions, and bill pay transactions. It keeps you from facing additional charges from the merchant, not to mention the embarrassment of a declined transaction. Certain terms and restrictions apply.

Members may also enroll in standard overdraft protection, which links your share draft account to either a savings or credit card account. There is a small fee if a transfer from your savings or credit card account occurs due to insufficient funds in your share draft account.

No matter which option you choose, you don’t pay any fee unless the service is utilized.

Notary Service

Each branch has a notary public available, and the service is absolutely free to members.

Coin Machine

We have coin machines inside both the Rome and Carrollton offices for your convenience. There's a small service charge to convert your coins into cash, or deposit the funds into your account for free.
